07 Sep CNDSF Partners with Wounded Warriors Canada
Funds raised from 2015 campaign will be donated in support of mental health programs.
The Canadian National Day of Service Foundation (CNDSF) is proud to announce its partnership with Wounded Warriors Canada. In 2015, all money raised through CNDSF will be donated to Wounded Warriors Canada in support of their leading mental health programs benefiting our ill and injured Canadian Armed Forces members, Veterans, First Responders and their families.
Following the attacks on September 11, 2001, Canadians demonstrated the soul of this great nation by their selfless welcome of stranded passengers. The CNDSF honours Canadians engaged in charitable activities and provides direct financial support to select charities. Every year on the Anniversary of 9/11 the Canadian National Day of Service will focus on a special cause.
Scott Maxwell, Executive Director of Wounded Warriors Canada, commented, “We at Wounded Warriors Canada are proud to partner with the Canadian National Day of Service Foundation. As a privately funded charity, it is through outstanding partnerships like this, and the support of Canadians from coast-to-coast, that our life changing and family saving programs are made possible. We honour the efforts of the CNDSF and look forward to working together towards our mutually shared goals.”
